HGV Class 2 Driver - START MONDAY 10th
Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is seeking a dedicated and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for our esteemed client based in Burntwood. This exciting opportunity lies within the dynamic Driving industry and offers a competitive pay rate of £17.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle in compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
- Conduct vehicle checks before and after every shift, ensuring the roadworthiness of the vehicle.
- Adhere to all delivery schedules, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated locations.
- Maintain high levels of professionalism and customer service while interacting with clients, suppliers, and the general public.
- Report any accidents, damages, or delays promptly to the management team.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records for deliveries and collections.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 2 license, along with CPC and Digi Tachograph cards.
- Possess a clean driving record, free from any major infringements or convictions.
- Minimum of 1-year experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and legislation.
- Excellent navigational skills with the ability to effectively plan routes.
