Working in the heart of the London, Westminster, an ‘outstanding’ rated nursery are looking for a Room Leader to join their success story.

With a spacious building set on three floors, this is a crucial position, responsible for supervising and leading a group of children and ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. You will lead a team of nursery practitioners and be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. There are a wide range of activities to try, from cooking, yoga, climbing to fun math games and woodwork. There is something for everyone and every mind to explore.

You will be in good hands – a team of experience nursery practitioners is on hand to work together so that everyone is building ideas for the children. Local to public transport you will be able to outings locally also – after all you are in the city of London!

Responsibilities:

• Foster a love of learning and creativity through play-based experiences.
• Lead and supervise children within the nursery.
• Full understanding of nursery setting procedures.
• Ensure the safety, health, and hygiene of the children.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

• Minimum of a Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent (e.g., CACHE, NNEB).
• Previous experienced leading a team at a nursery.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Build rapport in a friendly manner.
