They are an industry leader in fuel systems products, and due to their growth, they are looking to expand their design department.In the position of a Systems Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to engineer real–time, safety–critical powertrain systems, tailored for both passenger and commercial vehicles. This involves crafting control algorithms and strategies utilizing Matlab Simulink/Stateflow, as well as auto–generating code for production–ready software.We are seeking a candidate with over three years of experience in the development of real–time embedded systems, alongside a solid grasp of MATLAB Simulink and Stateflow. The Role:

• Crafting control algorithms & strategies (utilizing Matlab Simulink/Stateflow) and generating code for production–ready software
• Formulating system diagnostics and specifying CAN communication protocols
• Creating validation tests for electrical test benches, HiL, and vehicles
• Designing functional safety strategies compliant with the EGAS standard

The Person:

• Possessing over 3 years of experience in the development of real–time embedded systems
• Demonstrating proficiency in MATLAB Simulink and Stateflow
• Able to commute to Gillingham
• Previous involvement in the automotive industry is advantageous
