Title: HGV Driver / Van Driver Cat B The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a dedicated Part-Time Van Delivery Driver to join one of our clients as a part time delivery driver on Mondays. This role is perfect for someone who loves the idea of making a positive impact in their community, enjoys driving, and is looking for a flexible work schedule. Primarily a Monday only role, this role may offer overtime throughout the week at times if you are looking for extra days.
Job Description
As a Part-Time Van Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in the operations by delivering fresh fruit and vegetables to schools in the Kent area. This is a multi drop role involving some goods that may weigh up to 25kg.
Key Responsibilities Safely transport fruit and vegetables from our warehouse to designated schools in the Kent area. Load and unload produce in an organised and careful manner to ensure quality is maintained. Adhere to scheduled routes and timely deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues. Provide excellent service and maintain positive relationships with school staff. Comply with all traffic and safety regulations. Pay rate - £11-£12
Requirements Valid drivers license and clean driving record (No more than 6 points). Experience in delivery driving preferred but not essential. Ability to lift and move stock (up to 25kg). Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Friendly and positive attitude, with good communication skills.
