About the role:

An exciting opportunity at BSI has become available for a Finance Systems Analyst to join our Core Systems Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has a passion for systems, finance and technology. We will provide comprehensive training and support to turn your knowledge into practical expertise.

The Core Systems team is newly formed that works alongside both our BAU and Strategic Projects Teams that look after our Finance Systems. These are global teams with team members currently based in the United Kingdom, United States and Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing issues/queries received in the Finance Systems shared mailbox and proposing solutions
• Providing second-line support for the SAP finance user community, collaborating with the first-line support team
• The delivery of SAP FI/CO and other system configurations
• System testing, UAT, document system configuration and delivering training
• Acting as the owner of small-size projects, engaging with stakeholders, building plans and monitoring progress
• Understanding requirements and mapping them to BSI Group processes
• Reviewing requirements and proposing solutions for integration with wider BSI processes and systems.

Knowledge and Experience Required:

• Accounting: transactional and/or financial/management accounting experience is required 
• SAP ECC6 FI/CO experience is essential
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced level in Excel and Word
• Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership skills and desire to engage with other systems and finance teams.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong English language skills, essential. Other languages from EMEA highly beneficial

Education & Qualifications:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in IT or Accounting
• Accounting qualification – Highly advantageous
