Job description

We have flexible night-time work for an experienced Care Assistants in a care home located in the town of Ripley, Derbyshire.

The 18-bed home provides a high quality, safe and personalised service that promotes choice, dignity, control, and quality of life for all service users.

As a Care Assistant at this home, you will aid the service user’s mobility and nutritional needs, whilst ensuring that physical and psychological wellbeing is the utmost priority. You will ensure that the service users are supported throughout the night with any assistance that they may require.

The home specialises in supporting people with enduring mental health difficulties who require 24hr nursing support due to their complex needs and/or challenging behaviour.

To be suitable for this position you must have:
- An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
- Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training
- A Referenceable work history
- Proof of full vaccinated status against Covid-19
- At least 3 months experience within a similar setting

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

This is an ongoing position for work

We have hours available between Monday to Sunday, with these hours typically being from 20:00 to 07:45.

The rate of pay for this role is between £11.50 to £12.00 per hour depending on the days worked.
