Job description
Independent Reviewing Officer Service care Solution are currently recruiting for an Independent Reviewing Officer join the Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Service in Islington.
As an Independent Reviewing Officer, you will hold a diverse caseload that will include mainly children looked after and some child protection cases.
You will also be asked to contribute to auditing activity across the service, which will be an integral part of the role.
Main Responsibilities As an Independent Reviewing Officer you will be responsible for:
- Chairing meetings and ensuring the participation of children, young people, and their parents
- Managing difficult meetings with confidence
- Conducting scrutiny, auditing, and attention to detail
- Writing good quality reports
- Ensuring effective decisions are made for Children Looked After and Children with a Child Protection Plan
- Monitoring decisions in line with Working Together and the Care Placement, Planning and Review Regulations
Requirements: - Qualification in Social Work
- Experience working as a Social Worker in a similar role
- Registered with Social Work England
