Cover supervisor
Do you have a passion for delivering and supporting the academic growth of students and support?
You will be responsible for delivering lessons to students at an array of ability’s and year groups throughout Secondary schools. The cover supervisor will have a strong foundation in basic subject knowledge of the UK secondary curriculum, excellent communications skills at an array of ages including students and a commitment to nurturing a positive environment for learning.

Your responsibilities as a cover supervisor:
* Deliver lesson plans, ensuring a positive learning experience.
* Nurture a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages mental wellbeing and academic progression.
* Deliver a range of teaching techniques and resources to enhance students' understanding of mathematics.
* Collaborate with other members of the school community, including support staff and parents/guardians, to create a support system for students.
* Implement behaviour management strategies and techniques to address challenging behaviours highlighting positive reward systems.
* Maintain accurate records of students' achievements, attendance, and behaviour, and provide reports as required.

Requirements of a cover supervisor:
* Basic knowledge of the UK curriculum for secondary education.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
* Hold a BA (Hons) degree
* Have a current and updated DBS that’s on the update system.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in high-stress situations.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Have strong behavioural strategies.
