Salary: £70 - £100 per day

We are currently seeking dynamic and compassionate individuals to join our Secondary schools in Colchester as 1:1 SEMH Support staff. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to make a positive difference in the lives of students facing SEMH challenges.
About the Role: As a 1:1 SEMH Support staff member, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized support and assistance to students with SEMH needs. Your dedication and understanding will help students overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities: - Individualized Support: Provide one-on-one support to students with SEMH needs, helping them to manage their emotions and behaviors effectively.
- Positive Reinforcement: Implement strategies to promote positive behavior and encourage emotional regulation.
- Building Rapport: Develop trusting and supportive relationships with students, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure a coordinated approach to meeting students' SEMH needs.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor and track students' progress, providing regular feedback to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements: - Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs is desirable.
- A compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
