About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer with a passion for crafting digital products and services that deliver value to our users. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of designing for mobile apps. As the first designer to join our app squad, you will have a unique opportunity to lead the design efforts and work across every stage of the product lifecycle, from early-stage innovation, through to continuous improvement and on to reinventing existing products and services to drive better outcomes for our users. You are deeply passionate about creativity and human-centered design, with a clear commitment to achieving positive outcomes for users. Your background includes hands-on experience working on iOS and/or Android native apps for well-known brands, ideally within a high-traffic setting. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and marketers. Your role will involve creating intuitive and visually compelling designs that align with our brand identity and meet the needs of our users.
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience demographics.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs effectively communicating design concepts and interactions.
- Lead ideation workshops and design reviews with stakeholders.
- Develop intuitive, usable, and engaging interactions and visual designs for iOS and Android platforms.
- Lead the design process from concept development to final implementation, ensuring a seamless user experience across all app features.
- Design innovative, intuitive, user-centered interfaces aligned with user needs and expectations.
- Work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and provide support during implementation.
- Participate in the development process from definition through design, build, test, release, and maintenance.
- Continuously iterate and refine designs based on user feedback, analytics data, and market trends.
- Maintain brand consistency and design standards throughout the app interface and user interactions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mobile app design.
What you will need to bring…
- Proven experience in Product, UI/UX, or App Design with a strong portfolio.
- Minimum two years working on iOS and/or Android native apps.
- Ideally involved in launching or relaunching apps and improving performance.
- Solid grasp of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and platform guidelines.
- Effective communicator, skilled in presenting ideas confidently to stakeholders.
- Able to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Proficient in problem-solving using research and data, and applying design thinking through a UX process.
- Experienced in facilitating remote workshops and collaboration sessions.
- Familiarity with building design systems for web and app.
- Skilled in exploring multiple solutions, testing with users, and iterating based on feedback.
- Proficient in prototyping tools and user testing methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma.
