Staff role in Woking.
Hybrid working pattern, 3 days office, 2 remote working. The salary is up to £92K plus benefits.

We support flexible working requests and have adopted a hybrid approach for most of our office-based roles. We ask employees to be present in the office at least three days per week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - This role is focused on the delivery of technical safety across the project life cycle, from feasibility and concept through FEED, detailed design, or supporting Group EPC projects.
- As a principal technical safety engineer, you must be adaptable and be open to dealing with new technologies for which no current safety standards exist.
- You will be required to support a range of projects, from giving expert advice to the client interface to the execution of deliverables.
- Management of hours budget, resource planning and schedule on projects
- Write, check, and approve clear and concise reports.
- Ability to share findings with all key stakeholders early and effectively.
- Communication with clients and senior management
- Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and checking critical deliverables, including:
- Hazard identification and SIL studies
- Flare radiation and dispersion studies
- Fire explosion hazard assessment (FEHA)
- Occupied buildings studies
- Temporary refugee integrity assessments
- Emergency systems survivability assessments (ESSA)
- Escape evacuation rescue assessment report (EERA)
- Dropped object studies
- QRA reports
- Loss prevention deliverables, e.g., ATEX studies, escape route layouts, firewater system design, and fire and gas system design
Essential Qualifications and Skills: - Degree in an engineering or cognate discipline, and ideally hold chartered engineer or professional process safety engineer status.
- Related experience working for engineering and/or client organizations.
- Experience in the energy transition arena
- Excellent standard of written and spoken English.
