Position Information

Camden Haven High School with an enrolment of 1112 students, including 140 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, is an integrated face to face and distance education campus where the majority of teaching staff deliver lessons in both modes. Emphasis is on quality teaching and learning, enhancing student achievement and learning outcomes, with a strong commitment to student engagement and attendance. The school promotes a caring and supportive environment, providing programs that cater for students of all abilities and backgrounds. Students are offered a broad curriculum as well as a wide variety of extracurricular and enrichment activities at the school. The school is committed to the Positive Behaviour for Learning program focusing on 'respect, responsibility and doing your best'. Specific Selection Criteria Approval to teach software design and development and information and software technology. Highly developed skills and experience in the delivery of these courses in a safe, supportive classroom that fosters student engagement. Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to faculty and whole school initiatives. Well developed interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to work towards positive learning outcomes for students, with students, staff and parents.
