Summary: Universal Grinder

Gi Pro are working with a specialist Machine Tooling client based in Coventry, that are recruiting for a Universal Grinder on a permanent basis.

Working a day shift, paying between £16 - £17 per hour, with overtime paid at an enhanced rate.

The client - specialises in repairing Machine Tool Spindles, housings, and ancillary components.

The role: Universal Grinder

• Universal Grinding
• Machine tool spindle repair
• Internal and external grinding
• Producing one off's
• Machine Setup: Prepare and set up universal grinding machines, ensuring all tools, fixtures, and materials are in place for efficient operations.
• Grinding Operations: Operate universal grinders to grind and finish metal components to specified dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes.
• Quality Control: Inspect workpieces during and after grinding to ensure they meet quality standards and blueprint specifications.
