Hays Education are currently recruiting a science teaching job for a secondary school located near Middlesbrough. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Your new role
- Delivering high-quality Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Preparing lesson plans, resources, and teaching materials
- Setting and marking assessments and providing feedback to students
- Monitoring and reporting on students\' progress and providing feedback to parents and colleagues
- Contributing to the development of the Science curriculum and teaching resources
- Participating in school events and extracurricular activities
- Attending staff meetings and professional development sessions
What you\'ll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in Science or related subject
- Experience teaching Science at secondary level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Science
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
