Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Reading, Berkshire

We are recruiting on behalf of a practice in Reading for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon. This role is full or part time. There will be no OOH work.
This role will suit an experienced vet as you will be required to work sole charge 1 or 2 days per week. They would be joining a supportive team who work well together and provide a family feel environment to work in.
They are looking for a vet who is comfortable with routine consultations and surgeries but also with emergency surgery when required.

- Hours: Full or part time
- Sole charge: 1 or 2 days per week
- OOH: None
- Branch work: None
- Computer system: RX Works
- Consultations: 15 minutes
- Team: 2.5 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 2 ANAs

About you:
- You will have good general medical and surgical skills
- You will be confident in some sole charge work when required
- You will have an approachable, empathetic, and caring attitude
- You will be passionate about all aspects of your veterinary work
- You will be happy to share knowledge and mentor others where required
- You will be able to establish good working relationships with clients and be confident in all consultations
- You will contribute to the practice with ideas enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking whilst also maintaining the ethos of providing a high standard of clinical care to all pets.
- You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff.
- You will be a strong team player
- Ambition to pursue an area of special interest would be supported

- Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
- Holidays: 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays

Must haves:
