WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design and automate comprehensive test cases / BDD scenarios based on requirements and acceptance criteria. 
• You will develop,  maintain ,  extend and automate test suites for our trading applications 
• Automate with open-source frameworks and develop your technical skills as a test engineering professional 
• Evaluate the results for the automated test executions, troubleshoot and fix the failed tests 
• Prepare and  maintain documentation on system automation functionality,  processes and test approaches 
• Continuous improvement of automation framework and workflow processes, keep solutions up to date with latest technologies 
• Peer-review of the work of other team members 
• Guide and mentor junior team members  
• Generate and deliver high value test reporting documentation to provide the business with quality metrics  

WHO YOU ARE

• A passionate Test engineer with a high level of English (minimum B2), hardworking, results-oriented and ready to tackle new challenges
• S killed in Java,  C#or any other object-oriented programming  language ( Kotlin is a plus)
• Proven experience with testing API services
• Proven knowledge across unit, functional, system, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Excellent understanding of testing best practices and methodologies
• Proven experience designing,  building and  maintaining medium to large scale automation test frameworks 
• Proven experience with workflow / test management tools  e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps 
• Experience in CI/CD, source control systems, and configuration management 
• Experience working across a range of architectures ( e.g. API testing, UI testing, application security, contract testing, performance testing) 
• Proficiency in all testing stages, analysis of testing requirements, planning of a test, designing test scenarios, execution, defect management 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent
• Testing certificates; e.g. ISTQB (would come as a +)
