What you will do in your working day

The job role will include:

• Learning to read drawings
• To fabricate and weld steel
• Grind/Linish
• Print labels
• Learning to use test rig to set to certain pressures
• Assembling when required
• Packing
• Placing orders for items required in factory-stock 

The training you will be getting

This is a level 2 Welding apprenticeship (General welder (arc processes)), delivered over a period of 2 years. Includes Functional Skills English and maths if required.

The apprentice will attend the training centre, In-Comm Training Services, in Aldridge WS9 8UG, 1 day per week during the training.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Full time position after successful completion of this apprenticeship
