Strong Group are currently working with a recognised joinery & Fit Out main contractor who manufacture and install for several industries, they're based in the Hampshire area and are actively searching for an experienced Interior Fit-Out Estimator to add to their pre-construction team.

This Commercial Fit Out main contractor value talented & hard-working individuals with experience and knowledge as they are passionate about providing high-quality joinery & metalwork to the Hospitality, Commercial, Leisure & Retail industries. This Main contractor is based in Hampshire however work with clients across the UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe. They want an Interior Fit Out Estimator to join them on a permanent basis. Working within a busy team of 3 Interior fit out Estimators.



Title: Interior Fit Out Estimator Salary: £45,000 (Negotiable, Dependent on experience)

39 Hours Per Week Schedule: Monday-Friday (With Reduced Friday Hours)

Office Based Start Date : ASAP

Interior Fit Out Estimator Role:


-Produce and complete onsite surveys of pre-existing conditions when applicable.
-Conduct post-bid analysis and participate in bid review meetings with company Directors.
-Consider and analyse risk factors.
-Be the Company's representative at pre contract and post contract meetings with clients and contractors.
-Analysing architectural specification, proposals, drawings and other records to prepare equipment, labour, and materials/subcontractor estimates for large complex work.
-Deliver complete conceptual and final estimating input on complex work using knowledge of specialised techniques, methodologies, processes or principles.
-Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
-Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including current information on prices from suppliers.
-Request quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Conduct a thorough evaluation of incoming scopes of work and conduct a cost analysis on quotations.
-Carry out live project cost control and monitoring.
-Negotiate, award, and administer contracts with subcontractors for the successful completion of projects in a timely and cost-efficient manner.

The successful Interior Fit Out Estimator must have:

• Estimating experince within Catering & Commercial Kitchen sector
• Ability to interpret drawings and in taking off details.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to use initiative.
• 3 years estimating experience or trained to a HND level
• Be able to provide references from 2 previous employers (Must include most recent employer)
• Confident in compiling and working from bills of quantities.
• Enthusissm & 'Team player'
• Previous experience of Causeway estimating system would be beneficial although not essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• The candidate should also:
• Experience in carrying out site surveys.
• Excellent IT skills, inc experience with Excel.
