Job Description: We are seeking a diligent and organised Stock Controller to manage our clients' goods in and goods out processes. As a crucial member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of inventory and maintaining accurate records of stock levels.
Stock Controller Responsibilities include: - Receive incoming goods and verify accuracy against purchase orders
- Inspect and record the condition of received items
- Ensure proper storage and organisation of incoming inventory
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to schedule deliveries and pickups
- Maintain inventory records using our designated systems or software
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Monitor stock levels and anticipate shortages or overages
- Implement and maintain best practices for stock control and warehouse management
- Assist in optimizing warehouse layout and storage procedures
Stock Controller Requirements include: - Previous experience in stock control, warehouse management, or a similar role
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8am - 430pm.
