Head of SEM Marketing Responsibilities
As the Head of SEM Marketing, you will be reporting directly into the Sales and Marketing Director and responsible for overseeing and executing all lead generation activities, with a primary focus on Google AdWords. You will have expertise in SEM digital marketing, ideally within the education, travel, or luxury goods sectors. You will be responsible for the strategy and delivery of Google AdWords campaigns, Paid Social working closely with an external agency, web performance and optimisation, data driven analysis and reporting as well as driving other digital lead generation activities, collaborating closely with cross–functional teams to deliver impactful marketing strategies.
Head of SEM Marketing Experience
The ideal candidate will be an experienced digital marketeer with a passion for content and effective, engaging communication.
You will be able to demonstrate:
5 years+ of dedicated SEM digital marketing experience
Strong experience of Google Paid Advertising platforms
Extensive experience of running Paid Social Media advertising campaigns
Excellent knowledge of website performance, UX, and CRO
Experience and understanding of building high performing landing pages and of A/B testing to optimise performance.
Data driven and analytical, especially in assessing campaign performance, identifying consumer behaviour, creative opportunities and managing cost per acquisition targets.
Familiarity with marketing attribution platforms and a good understanding of CRM systems.
Strong writing and communication skills, with an eye for detail.

Location
Based in Oxford (OX1) there is onsite parking available. Working hours will be 40 hours per week. Some weekend and evening work will be required. 4 days a week will be spent working from head office in Oxford with 2 days working from home.
Dress code is business smart. Please be aware that the successful candidate will be DBS checked – please only apply if you are happy with this.
