Business Need
Responsible for the contract management of all current and future pass-through spares orders.
Further developing key accounts by supporting Team members as required.
Assisting APS Project Engineer & other Project Engineers with the delivery of current APS & Spares orders.
Assisting APS & Spares Team Manager with maintaining OTD of all spare’s orders, fact finding & data analysis on an ad hoc basis pending Customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities
Including but not limited to:
Objectives:
Effectively communicate work scope requirements with other Team members.
Work with the tendering & contracts teams to prepare costing for quotations & tenders when required and progressing to Work in Progress to successful completion.
Establish and build a good working relationship with internal & external customers.
Ensure technical & commercial conditions-of-contract are known & fully adhered to @ Contract review stage, supported by APS Project Engineer.
Utilize business systems to manage order input, invoicing, job cost interrogation, PO requests, Despatch Notes, CoCs, etc.
Creation of spare supply quality plans, documentation and certification , supported by APS Project Engineer.
Requisition of materials, spares and third-party services to meet delivery requirements.
Prepare job files for timely invoicing, final sign off and closure.
Job Knowledge/Education:
Education/Experience
Experience of working within a Contract/Project customer focused delivery team would be advantageous, but not essential as training will be given.
Experience of working within an engineering business is preferred, but not essential.
Candidates with relevant, alternative education/experience to that listed above may be considered.
Product Knowledge
Knowledge of heritage pump & rotating equipment would be advantageous, but not essential as training will be given.
Communication Skills
Proven track record of collaboration and relationship building skills, both internally and externally, to work effectively with all relevant stakeholders.
Computer Skills
Excellent IT skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and experience in the use of an ERP system is also advantageous.
Work Environment
Must be flexible with working hours to accommodate workload and customer deadlines.
Travel elsewhere to supplier / customer facilities will also be required from time-to-time.
