Job description
- Managing allocated Crown Estate Scotland built development programmes, implementing robust project management principles within Crown Estate Scotland governance, risk management, financial control, resource management, programme management, change control processes, review and reporting mechanisms.
- Planning and managing local consultation and engagement in relation to project proposals, working with colleagues and consultants, and with active involvement in public meetings as required.
- Leading management of the development process including development appraisals, valuations, feasibility studies and transactions.
- Developing good working relationships with key internal stakeholders to enable leveraging internal multi-disciplinary skills and portfolio knowledge to develop robust business cases and appraising built development opportunities.
- Working with the Director of Property and the wider property team on scoping and development of proposals for new investment in rural, commercial and coastal projects in line with the Crown Estate Scotland Investment Strategy.
- Ensuring the operation of effective project monitoring and reporting procedures and formal linkage with the project control and management process.
- Supporting the Director of Property in strategy development, engagement with Crown Estate Scotland's Board and committees, and collaborative working across the wider Crown Estate Scotland team.
