Principal Accountant needed, £319.11 per day PAYE - Reference: RQ1167408
This is an exciting development opportunity for any CIPFA or equivalent qualified candidate to join the childrens team as a principal accountant role to provide support to the Head of Finance during a period of change to a new ERM system, to lead on budget monitoring, to feed into setting a three year medium term financial strategy, lead on accounts closedown, support new and existing revenue and capital projects as well as steering service improvements on budget monitoring, traded services and various corporate improvement programmes.
In addition to the criteria in the person specification, you will need to be able to hit the ground running, be able to establish and maintain relationships; plan and manage tasks to required timeframes; manage project work and other tasks without too much direction i.e.: using your own initiative with the all-important problem-solving approach we need to support this organisation meet its objectives.
This is a full time role on a Temporary contract basis.
