Up to £57,029 p.a.

We have an exciting opportunity for a new Head of School: Apprenticeships and Adult Learning. This curriculum area includes a significant proportion of the College’s apprenticeship and adult provision in subjects such as Leadership and Management, Accountancy, HR, Business Administration, Customer Service, Early Years Education, Teaching Assistants, Counselling, and Employability Skills.

This is an ideal role for an exceptional leader and manager who is passionate about the transformative capacity of education in both the classroom and the workplace; is committed to ensuring that a team of teachers and trainers provide outstanding educational opportunities for the diverse range of learners our adult and apprenticeship programmes attract; is prepared to lead rigorous reviews of quality and work with others to ensure that swift interventions are put in place when needed; and who is dedicated to providing responsive and innovative provision that adapts to the ever-changing needs of employers locally, regionally and nationally.

To excel in this role, you will have successful experience of delivery and leadership in one or more of the subject areas in the School, and will also be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young pe ople and vulnerable adults.
