Job description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to their designated locations. As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles, including vans, trucks, or other designated vehicles, to transport goods to various locations. Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe transportation of goods and passengers.Load and unload goods as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays encountered during transportation. Provide excellent customer service, including courteous interactions with clients and timely delivery of goods. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, both internally and externally.
Requirements:
Valid and clean driving license.
Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a commercial or delivery capacity.
Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including early starts and occasional late finishes.
Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy items.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Overtime will be compensated at time and a half after the standard hours.
