Job description

Are you an experienced sports coach looking to work only during the holidays? Do you have a passion for sports and would like to inspire the next generation? If you have answered yes to one or both questions, we might have the job for you!

 

Established in 2014, NCFC RDP provides hundres of children with sport and physical activity throughout East Anglia during the schools holidays.

Our vision is to get More Children, More Active, More Often and engaging with regular sporting acitvity. We are looking for enthusiastic, adventurous , creative and open minded individuals to join us on our journey to get MORE CHILDREN, MORE ACTIVE, MORE OFTEN.

We enforce best in class standards of deployment, we skill our workforce to new levels. We know our team has the most up to date qualifications and meet these standards because we quality assure our network annually.

 

Essential Requirements

· Experience in delivering sports/activity sessions or teaching groups of children between the ages of 4 and 13 years old in a school or out of school settingenvironment

· Up to date Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willing to obtain these)

· First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain these)

· Full driving license or access to a car

· A confident and strong personality with a desire to make a difference

Role and Responsibilities

· Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, fun, and progressive activities to children aged 4 – 13 years old that focus on participation, development, and enjoyment.

· Take on a pastoral role with children who need additional help and support.

· Show the required energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism required for the role, acting as an ambassador for Norwich City and behaving as a suitable role model for children.

· Take full responsibility for all children in your care, ensuring everyone remains safe and on task throughout your sessions.

· Deliver outstanding group management skills to ensure appropriate behavior, focus, and engagement from all children whilst delivering your activities.

· Demonstrate excellent customer service awareness and adapt accordingly when dealing with differing stakeholders including children, parents.·

- Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to, including health and safety, and safeguarding procedures.

· Be punctual and professional.

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification:

• Driver's License and can drive (required)

• Level 2 Sports Qualification (required)
