Ashton on Mersey School is part of The Dean Trust. The school is an over-subscribed mixed 11-18 school situated in Greater Manchester. It enjoys a close partnership with Manchester United Football Club, its principal sponsor. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Ashton on Mersey School is seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Physical Education (Girls) to join a very talented and dedicated team of staff, who are determined to provide the best quality teaching and support for every pupil, and who are committed to maintaining our high standards.
This role would be suitable for an ECT seeking a first teaching post or a well-qualified individual seeking a new challenge in an ambitious school.
We are seeking a dynamic teacher, with experience of teaching PE and coaching a number sports, who can deliver ambitious and challenging lessons. The successful candidate will be an inspirational subject teacher, with enthusiasm, drive, initiative, excellent communication skills and be a committed team player.
Ashton on Mersey School has a proud tradition of sporting excellence, the school’s sporting facilities include an all-weather surface, sports field, netball courts, tennis courts, a large sports hall, sprung dance and gymnastic studios, climbing wall and Fitness suite. Our extracurricular provision is a powerful feature of the faculty’s work and the person appointed will be expected to enhance our participation and the competitive elements of these activities.
