Wessex Fluid Power Ltd are looking to recruit an Engineering Supply Administration Apprentice who has a strong desire to learn, to support the team with the day-to-day administration in a customer facing role.
Training to be provided: Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 15-month apprenticeship which includes 12 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.
About the role: The Engineering Supply Administration Apprentice will be responsible for the following duties:
- Support both the sales and accounting team in a customer facing role
- Generate and send quotations, invoices and purchase orders using Quickbooks software
- Communicating with customer via email, phone and face to face
- Effectively record messages and daily tasks to be reviewed by the sales team
- Develop a knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics industries
- Delivering a high standard service to new and existing customers
- Potential to expand duties and knowledge, such as the use of CAD

Essential Skills: It is essential that the Engineering Supply Administration Apprentice has the following skills and personal qualities:

- Customer care skills
- IT competent, knowledge of Excel would be an advantage
- GCSEs in maths and English with at least a grade C / 4
