B&M is one of the fastest growing retailers in the UK! We have a fantastic opportunity for a HR professional to join as a People Business Partner at our Speke Distribution Centre.

This role will work closely with the senior leadership team and will report directly to the DC Head of HR.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring B&M’s human resources strategy aligns with site objectives. You will oversee all aspects of the HR function like the development of HR policies, managing an ER case load and leading a small HR team.

As our People Business Partner you will:

• Implement strategies to enhance productivity & morale.
• Work closely with the recruitment and onboarding team regarding high volume recruitment.
• Manage the end to end employee cycle.
• Own colleague engagement & put in place solutions to reduce labour turnover.
• Coach and develop the DC management team to be successful leaders.
• Assist with succession planning and performance/development management.
• Lead and develop a small HR team.

You will ideally have:

• Senior HR experience in a fast paced business in DC/Warehouse/Logistics/Manufacturing.
• An up to date knowledge of employment law.
• Excellent understanding across all employee relations disciplines.
• Strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills.
• An inspirational leader and coach.
• Proactive team player who strives for continuous improvement.
