Graduate TA
Are you a driven graduate interested in making a more meaningful impact within the industry by teaching Children with special needs?
Or are you keen to get experience with special needs children?
Are you a dedicated and patient person with a passion for supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs?
As a Graduate TA you will play a pivotal role in supporting children with a variety of needs, working closely with students and their families, with a team of dedicated professionals encouraging progression to create a supportive and engaging environment for students. You will need to be a graduate teaching assistant dedicated to the development of your personal and academic growth.
Your responsibilities as a graduate TA:
* Engage in lessons with SEND students, ensuring their progress with a positive learning experience.
* Nurture a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages mental wellbeing and academic progression.
* Deliver a range of teaching techniques and resources to enhance students understanding.
* Utilise assessments effectively to monitor students' progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
* Collaborate with other members of the school community, including SENCOs, support staff, and parents/guardians, to create a support system for students.
* Implement behaviour management strategies and techniques to address challenging behaviours highlighting positive reward systems.
* Maintain accurate records of students' achievements, attendance, and behaviour, and provide reports as required.
* A passion for developing within the world of teaching assistant.
Requirements as a Graduate TA:
* Ideally have experience working with students with SEND needs or in a similar SEN environment.
* A recent GRADUATE with interest as a Graduate TA.
* A passion to teach and nurture SEND need children.
* Knowledge of effective SEN teaching strategies and interventions.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in high-stress situations.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and open to new opportunities.
