Job description

• Design and development of brake systems and products.
• Perform FE analyses for design validation and simulation.
• Design and coordinate product testing including interpreting results.
• Participate and contribute to all aspects of product design and development, including calculations, Bills of Material, tooling and fixtures, liaison with suppliers and customers.

Main Requirements

The ideal candidate will be qualified to a Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or other suitable discipline. Year out experience in the automotive field working with brakes, clutches or drivetrain would be an advantage.
The ability to meet tight deadlines with often demanding quality and performance requirements is required.

Good knowledge of the following software tools would be an advantage but not necessary, as training would be given to suitably qualified engineers experienced on other systems.

• SolidWorks / SolidWorks Simulation

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is required.

Good communication skills, both oral & written, are essential as well as analytical skills, autonomy and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
