Job description
MCL requires a number of Principal Electrical Engineers on a range of projects for our Oil and Gas client.
Duration: an initial 12 month contract role that has an immediate start
Rate: target limited company rate of circa £60.00 per hour.
Location: The role will be based on 5 days a week in the Clients Offices in Leatherhead.Hybrid working may be possible with two days remote.
The role is likely to be outside IR35 but the final decision will be made after a Qdos assessment

Principal Electrical Engineer with demonstrable experience of designing large industrial power systems for Energy transition projects for Pre-FEED and FEED work.
The experience shall include:
a) conceptual designs for onshore and / or offshore project
b) sizing and selection of 110kV / 11kV equipment, Large Frequency convertors, AC/ DC UPS systems etc.
c) Development of philosophies
d) Power Systems Studies (ETAP or equivalent).
e) Brownfield tie-ins at existing plants.
