Beesley and Fildes Ltd are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Trade Counter Supervisor to join our team based in Widnes .

In the role of Trade Counter Operative, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for the efficient functioning of our trade counter and offering crucial assistance to our valued customers. Join us in this exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our operation.

• Comply with all H&S requirements and maintain high level of housekeeping
• Ensure customer requirements are met in an efficient and polite manner
• Goods in/out – using appropriate methods and machinery to unload and dispatch goods
• Keeping all plant and equipment in good working order, reporting any issues or faults as required
• Maintain high levels of vigilance to secure site and protect assets

The Ideal Candidate.

• Extensive knowledge of building, timber and roofing materials.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact courteously and efficiently with trade customers.
• Previous experience in a trade counter or similar customer-facing role within a building merchant environment.
• Exceptional organisational skills to manage inventory, track stock levels, and ensure accuracy in transactions.
• Attention to detail in handling paperwork, invoices, and other documentation associated with trade transactions.

Once that’s complete you will be given access to our HIVE portal where your induction and relevant training is held for you to complete within one month of commencement
