Job description

As a result of continuing changes within their industry from a reporting perspective, our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a technically strong Financial Accountant who will embrace this period of change and the longer term opportunities that presents. This position will offer hybrid working with two days a week at their offices in Bournemouth, Dorset.

What will the Financial Accountant role involve?

• Playing a key role in the production of group external reporting;
• Contributing towards the preparation of statutory accounts for 2023;
• Working with the Financial Accountant on Solvency II reporting;
• Key point of contact for auditors on any queries;
• Also acting as a contact for regulatory reporting.

Suitable Candidate for the Financial Accountant vacancy:

• Fully qualified, ideally having trained in practice and looking for either a first or second move into industry;
• Good technical accounting knowledge;
• Exposure to financial services would be beneficial, as would a working knowledge of SAP or Oracle Financials, although neither are essential.
