SRG are currently working with a world–leading pharmaceutical organisation located in Maidenhead with a vacancy for a Business Analyst
The Business Analyst is responsible for the provision of data and analysis to drive business decision making, through critical, analysis, which provides a way forward for the business. The Business Analyst is accountable for the specification, design, build and distribution of clear, accurate, pertinent, descriptive, and diagnostic analysis, which can be easily interpreted by audiences across our business. An individual with knowledge of coding (R, Python) and is confident in modern analytical skillsets and delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Analytics consultation, focused on the delivery of business decisions through data.
- Analysis which supports planning and strategy, as well as product life cycle tracking.
- Analysis which empowers focused and impactful HCP and/or Account segmentation/business focus.
- Decision modelling ('what if' scenario analysis) and Predictive/forecasting based analysis.
- KPI design and specification iteration, validation and challenge of data/metric logic.
- Analysis which supports launch planning and strategy.
- Launch metrics consultation & performance/effectiveness/operational execution tracking.
- Geospatial mapping analysis & territory optimisations (size and structure, IFT builds).
- Market understanding and deep dive hypothesis, along with conversion factor assessment and amendments.
- Collaborative lead on balanced assurance of monthly model refresh, and facilitates above country alignment.
- Analysing shifts in market in order to foresee challenges and scenarios.
- Clear prioritisation of most impactful business innovations.
Requirements:
- 3+ years relevant experience of data analysis, as well as potentially other roles in CEx/BTS.
- Experience of programming languages (eg R, Python).
- Advanced and confident data modeling skills.
- Advanced understanding of mathematics and statistics.
- Experience in working within a complex, demanding DnA (data and analytics) environment.
- Experience of JIRA and Agile working model methodology.
- Experience of building linear dimensional, regression–based and logistic models, advantageous.
- BS or equivalent degree with academic courses in quantitative methods, economics or finance. Masters or PhD a plus.
