Job description

Recra is working in partnership with a specialist within warehouse systems who are currently seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer with warehousing and distribution project experience required for this expanding UK arm of global business.

• Experience with HMI/ SCADA is desirable along with the ability to read electrical schematics.
• The Control Systems Engineer will be highly competent with the design, programming, and commissioning of Siemens S7/TIA for a range of automation projects with experience in conveyors and/or warehouse automation highly beneficial.
• Functional safety experience is a bonus.
• Location is flexible as this is a work-from-home opportunity, with the majority of current projects around the Midlands / London areas.
• This is an excellent opportunity to join an already established international business as they grow in the UK market.
• Known for providing excellent levels of bespoke software and factory automation for a range of blue-chip clients.

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday 9 am-5 pm (Flexible).
• The role will be roughly split into 80% working from home and 20% commissioning on-site.

Ideal candidate fit:

• The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a like-for-like role.
• Be open and honest, and be a great representation of Invar when on client sites.
