Senior Data Architect

Job description

Major public sector organisation requires a Senior Data Modeller to help piece together various data sources into usable data models to be used in key analytics across the business. This will be instrumental in implementing upgrades to existing products.

This role requires a highly experienced Data Modeller with experience in most of the following: -

• Knowledge across modelling, data warehousing, data mapping, BI and big data
• Knowledge of planning and executing data migration and master data management
• Proficient in the use of SQL
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Tech Stack and BI system design
• Understanding of data storage tools such as JSON schemas, YAML, XL, Parquet, AVRO.
• Use of Datamodelling tools such as Archi, Erwin or Lucidchart
• Familiar with GDPR and personal data regulations.
• Agile development
• Experience working on large and complex data projects.

Role will require 4 days on-site per week in central London office collaborating with wider data team and comes with a competitive day rate. 12month contract and the opportunity to work for a leading, forward-thinking, public-sector client.
