IT Platform specialist
Winchester

6 month initial contract

£600pd to £650pd (Outside IR35)

This is an excellent opportunity for a full lifecycle project, moving the system to a Kubernetes containerized system.

This company is a multinational Broadcasting company based in UK and abroad. With this company still growing it is a perfect time to be onboard for one of the biggest transformations.
In this varied role we need a Platform specialist to come and add value to the project team by being responsible for the Automated application install of circa 500 THEL VMs.
The ideal candidate would be experience and knowledge in UNIX/Linux and expert knowledge in automation and management tools.

The role:
* Setting up and administering the Ansible Tower/AWX and Ansible Automation Platform
* Implementing ansible environment architectures, including how ansible tower integrates with third party applications, like Secret Server & Artifactory
* Hybrid working, 2 to 3 days per week on site in Winchester.
* 6-month contract, outside IR35, ASAP start, £600pd to £650p

The Ideal candidate:
* RHEL 8 Experience as a Linux Engineer
* Deep knowledge of UNIX / Linux internals
* Expert knowledge and experience of automation and management tools
* Experience with Scripting and Automation (Bash, Python)
* Ability to attain SC Level Clearance.
