Hays are recruiting on behalf of large elderly nursing home in Hadleigh, Ipswich who provide high-quality care and support to residents. They are looking for a care assistant who can work long days or nights (you choose what you prefer!) You will be responsible for assisting the residents with their personal care, daily activities, and social needs. You will also help to create a warm and friendly atmosphere in the home, respecting the dignity and preferences of each individual.

To be a successful care assistant, you will need to have:

- A caring and compassionate personality
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work as part of a team and independently
- The willingness to learn and develop your skills
- A flexible and reliable approach to work
- Experience working as a key worker, support worker, HCA or care assistant previously

Dementia experience would be desirable but not essential, as we will provide you with full training and support. You will also benefit from:
