Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive science lessons to students

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and assessment data
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
• Relevant degree in Science or a related field
• Proven experience teaching science to primary or secondary students
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
• Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
• Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and differentiation strategies
