Job description
This is a crucial role for a Financial Reporting Manager at a reputable Social Housing organisation. You will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, maintaining financial controls and systems, and leading a dedicated team in the accounting and finance department.

Description
- Contribute to the creation of the annual budget and, in accordance with the Group's planning and reporting framework, generate regular forecast outputs throughout the year.
- Prepare the management and board reporting package, which should include a breakdown of variations from the budget and forecast as well as commentary.
- Oversee the group's production of the statutory and management financial accounts for the group.
- Enhance current finance colleagues and set up operational staff with appropriate finance training.
- You will contribute analysis and support that forges enduring bonds and enhances departmental decision-making.
- Implement and maintain effective financial controls and systems.
- Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
Profile
A successful Financial Reporting Manager should have:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Experience in financial reporting and team management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in the Social Housing sector or charity sector is an advantage.
