Job description
Tes is supporting the appointment of a passionate and experienced teacher who is keen to take the next steps in their career and make a real difference as a middle leader to join a school based in Surrey.
Modern Foreign Languages is one of the school's strongest subjects with GCSE value added scores in 2023 being over a whole grade higher than predicted. Following their OFSTED inspection of November 2022 one of their key strategic development targets for the school is to increase the numbers of students studying languages at Key Stage 4. They have an ambitious plan to achieve this and are looking to recruit a talented and passionate leader for languages who will have the drive and ambition to help them realise this.
The successful candidate will lead a team of committed and skilful teachers, and language assistants who are all keen to contribute to the growth of the subject with creative ideas and teamwork. You will have the full support of the senior leadership team and governors.
The school is situated to the West of London with good rail and road access. Their location means their staff enjoy living in areas such as West and South West London, Surrey and Berkshire making fantastic choices for city, suburban or rural living available.
