Business Development Officer

Dartford - 3 Days office-based

Full time - Permanent position

£27,000 - £30,000 per annum

Summary

Tide Partnership are working alongside a leading charity in England as they expand the Business Development function to maximise income generation through corporate partnerships. This Charity organisation offers this fantastic position with growth opportunities within the Business Development function learning new skills and delivering commercial partnerships driving income generation.

The Role

Working alongside two areas in the charity you will be responsible for the income generation of both the Endorsement Team and the Partnership Team supporting both areas with developing relationships. The main focus of the role is delivering high-level partnerships with private organisations delivering the income generation targets of the organisation.

Job responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Develop and lead the Corporate Business plan to increase income generation
• Research and pitch new potential corporate markets and organisations for the charity to target for new partnerships
• Developing the endorsement scheme of the charity by identifying new potential clients
• Nurture and develop relationships with corporate organisations to maximise income generation across multiple areas of fundraising.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to deliver the income generation targets of the charity with private corporate organsations
• To assist the Marketing team with the strategy of partnering with corporate organisations

Job Criteria - Essential:

• Demonstrateable experience in delivering corporate partnerships within a charity setting.
• Sales experience and delivering new leads into conversions
• Fundraising experience from any area
• Business Development experience within a charity

Job Criteria - Desirable:

• Excellent Communication skills
• Ability to deliver information both written and verbal in a consistent manner
• Multitask multiple projects at once
