A Global Engineering company have an opportunity for a Cost Engineer to join their growing South West team.

As an organisation they are involved in some of the biggest UK Projects and are trusted by our central Government to deliver projects within the Nuclear, Energy and Defence Sectors.

With a growing number of projects planned for the South West they are looking to source the best engineering talent to support them as the projects develop to construction stage.

The main purpose of this role is to assist the Project Controls Manager in the following areas:

• Earned value analysis
• Risk & opportunity management
• Preparation of change control / early warning notices
• Preparing / maintaining quality documents
• Monitoring key performance indicators as necessary

• Programme & resource monitoring 
• Preparation of change control / early warning notices
• Preparing / maintaining quality documents
• Monitoring key performance indicators as necessary 
• Project document control

Due to the nature of the projects the following criteria is essential:

To be considered for this role you will have previously worked as a Cost Engineer in either Nuclear, Defence or an Infrastructure sector such as Rail, Water, Highways and similar.

This role will start working from home but post pandemic you must able to commute or relocate to Exeter to the central Project Office when required.

Due to the sensitivity of the projects its also essential that you are eligible for UK Nuclear security clearance and provide work reference for the past 5-10 years.
