Job description: Social care work opportunity for a Personal Assistant.
Listed below are details of the job and what tasks are involved. It is essential to refer to these when submitting an application and advise of the days/hours you are available.

Job purpose: Supporting lady during the weekends with personal care and provide assistance at bedtime.

Location: South Wootton, PE30

Details:
- Saturday and Sunday Mornings - Provide assistance/supervision when required during showers, help prevent falls, and provide drinks.
- Saturday and Sunday Evenings - Help get into bed, making sure she is comfortable, has what she needs for the night, and when necessary, help change into nightwear.

Person Specification
Listed below are the skills, competencies and qualities that are essential and desirable for the post. Assessment of these, both on application and at the interview, will be the main factor in determining your success.

Essential:
- UK Driving Licence
- Use of own vehicle
- Previous experience in the care sector
- Understanding of MS (Multiple Sclerosis)
- Reliable
- Can use own initiative

Desirable:
- Experience using hoist
Summary Terms and Conditions

• The rate of pay for this position is £11.30 p/h.
• Hours and times of work as follows: Up to 10hrs a week, Saturday & Sunday , 3hrs in mornings and 2hrs in evenings. Occasional Friday evening cover required when existing employee is absent.
• A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
• Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 3 months.
• The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
