About the company:
We are a Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Euston, London. Established in 1977 we look after all types of business including sole traders, Partnerships, LLP’s and Limited Companies. Our clients are from a wide range of trades and sectors based in London, around the UK and overseas.
Candidate will be responsible for the following:
The preparation of statutory accounts, Limited companies, sole traders, charities, and partnerships.
The preparation and evaluation of monthly or quarterly management accounts.
The preparation, reconciliation, and submission of client VAT returns to HMRC, including liaising with the client to provide the required information.
Undertaking bookkeeping on behalf of clients.
Preparation of corporation tax returns including tax computations.
Offer day-to-day advice and guidance to clients on any VAT, payroll, or accounting issues.
Quarterly and monthly meetings with clients to review management accounts.
Work closely with the partners.
The candidate will need to demonstrate the following personal qualities and experience:
ACA/ACCA part-qualified/finalist
Min 3 years experience gained within a private practice;
Ability to build good rapport with clients, with a clear understanding of client expectations;
Ability to work to tight deadlines and produce high quality work;
Ability to work under own initiative;
Excellent communication skills with a ‘can do’ attitude and a strong client focus;
Experience of using Iris, Sage, Xero, and Microsoft Office
