Job description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a welcoming team at a practice in Norfolk. This is a busy first opinion and multi-disciplinary referral 24-hour hospital. This would be a great opportunity for someone to experience a busy hospital setting or an experienced candidate looking for a varied caseload. This is a permanent, full, or part-time role. Typical day time shifts involve a half day consulting and half day theatre, or an in-patient shift. Plus, there are twilight shifts (noon-10pm) and duty shifts (6pm- 9am). You will be joining a friendly team made up of 15 Veterinary Surgeons with 4 of those being Advanced Practitioners and 4 Certificate holders, 18 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 11 Student Veterinary Nurses and 19 Support Staff. The practice is fully equipped with separate cat wards/prep area, laparoscopy, CT, video endoscopy, colour flow doppler ultrasound and operating microscope. On offer is an excellent package including CPD allowance, paid memberships, and a competitive salary dependent on experience.
