Job Title: Intervention Tutor
Location: Collyhurst, Manchester
Type: ASAP
Salary: £25 - £35 per hour

Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists? Do you possess a deep understanding of KS2 level science curriculum and pedagogy? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for an Intervention Tutor to join a dedicated team at a well-respected school in Collyhurst, Manchester .

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Conducting targeted intervention sessions in small group and one-to-one settings to help students overcome challenges in science.
  • Delivering engaging and tailored lessons that align with the curriculum, focusing on areas where students require additional support.
  • Tracking and assessing students' progress, adapting your teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
  • Collaborating with the science department to identify specific learning needs and tailor intervention plans accordingly.
  • Providing constructive feedback to students and maintaining open communication with teachers, parents, and guardians.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) equivalent within the UK or a relevant qualification within Science.
  • In-depth knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and a passion for sharing your expertise with students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
  • Experience working in an educational setting, preferably with a focus on intervention and support.
  • Dedication to student success, with a patient and empathetic approach to teaching.
  • Working with KS2 with a child presenting with ASC and must have SEN
