We’re hiring Upholsterers in Reading
Stratton Mills is an employment business that provides Personnel around the UK. We have an excellent opportunity for Upholsterers for our clients based in Reading. Successful candidates will be offered full-time shifts on a permanent basis.
• Products: Office furniture, Sofas, Lecture seating
• Salary: £13.11 - £14.00 Per hour
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• Hours: 44 hours per week 07:00 - 16:30 Mon to Thurs and 07:30 - 16:00 Fridays
• Immediate Start
• Permanent position
• Location: Reading, RG30
Duties for the Upholsterer Role:
• Using power and hand tools to build the furniture
• Attach finishes, including buttons, trim, and other decorative accessories, to complete orders according to specifications.
• Measure and cut fabric or leather pieces with the aid of patterns, stencils, and industrial cutting tools to precise sizes and dimensions.
Ideal Upholsterer Candidate:
• Minimum 5 years of experience doing office furniture
• Flexible approach to working time to meet deadlines/peak workloads, team player
