We have a rare opportunity to join our business as a Regional Director with overall responsibility for the Central region. You would provide leadership to the Trade Central sales team to ensure effectiveness and integration.
Your remit will include:
- Develop and deploy a regional trade and spec sales plan which integrates with the national marketing and sales plans.
- Understand regional trade sector drivers and opportunities in order to develop strategies and tactics to achieve profitable growth.
- Use the SalesForce CRM system as key driver for gathering business and market intelligence.
- Regional ownership of key customer contacts, including wholesalers, contractors, local specifying clients.
- Ownership of the regional Trade Central sales budget, delivering net sales, margin and product mix results in line with company objectives.
- Monitor and measure sales and margin performance for the Trade Key Account Managers in order to ensure regional objectives are met.
- Provide accurate regional forecasts and develop effective responses to bridge any gaps between forecasted and budgeted performance.
Your profile
What we are looking for - Experience in a Sales Management role, with working experience of the lighting industry or a closely related discipline.
- Qualified to Degree level or equivalent with understanding and experience of lighting from both technical and commercial standpoints preferable.
- A proven track record in effectively managing and motivating sales teams.
- Recognised Management or Leadership Qualification.
- Strong working knowledge of IT/CRM Systems such as Microsoft Office, SAP, Salesforce.
